Phase 1 – Requirements & Feasibility
We start from your technical requirements: parts, cycle times, quality constraints, available floor space and budget targets. Our engineers assess feasibility, risks and alternative concepts, providing an initial recommendation and indicative timelines.
Phase 2 – Concept & Detailed Design
Once feasibility is confirmed, we develop one or more concepts, combining mechanical layouts, automation logic and handling solutions. The selected concept is then engineered in detail with 3D models, drawings, safety analysis and bill of materials.
Phase 3 – Prototyping, Testing & Industrialization
We build prototypes or pilot stations when needed, run functional tests and process trials, then refine the design. After validation, we industrialize the solution, supporting you through installation, commissioning and ramp-up to stable production.
At every step, we work in close contact with your technical office, quality and operations teams. Weekly touchpoints, shared 3D models and clear documentation help you make informed decisions early, reduce change loops and achieve a faster, safer start of production.
Unmanned Machining Robotic Cell
Development of a robotic cell to load and unload multiple CNC machines, enabling lights-out operation on night shifts. The project included custom grippers, infeed buffers and an optimized layout to fit within an existing production area.
Result: increased spindle utilization, reduced manual handling and more stable delivery times.
Custom Leak-Testing Machine
Design of a dedicated leak-testing station for precision components, integrating measurement instruments, automatic clamping and traceability marking. The system had to meet strict cycle-time and repeatability requirements.
Result: higher test reliability, shorter cycles and complete digital records for every tested part.
Modular Fixture Platform
Creation of a modular fixturing system to handle a large family of components on the same machining and inspection equipment. The design balanced rigidity, flexibility and fast changeover.
Result: reduced setup times, simplified planning and lower investment compared to multiple dedicated fixtures.
Working Side by Side with Your Team
Our R&D engineers integrate with your technical office, participating in design reviews, FMEAs and industrialization meetings. We can manage complete work packages or focus on specific modules, always aligning with your standards and procedures.
Benefits of a Co-Engineering Partner
By sharing goals, risks and knowledge, you gain faster development, more robust designs and better cost control over the full lifecycle of your equipment. OMB Tech Industries becomes your extended engineering arm, from first concepts to upgrades and retrofits.
Non-Disclosure and Controlled Access
We work under non-disclosure agreements and restrict project information to the people who need it. Sensitive data, models and documents are shared using agreed channels and access rights.
Secure Data and Documentation Handling
Drawings, 3D models, specifications and test reports are stored and versioned according to internal procedures. We can adapt to your file formats, naming rules and approval workflows.
Intellectual Property and Ownership
IP frameworks are defined at the beginning of each project. Depending on the commercial agreement, solutions can be developed exclusively for you or with shared rights, always with clear rules on usage and future developments.
Share Your Technical Challenge
Whether you are considering a new robotic cell, a special machine or a redesign of existing equipment, we can help you frame the project. Typical inputs include part drawings, process constraints, target cycle times, quality requirements and an indication of budget and timing.
What to Expect After Contacting Us
Our engineering team will review your request and propose the next steps: a technical call, a visit to your plant or a feasibility assessment. You will receive clear feedback on possible solutions, indicative lead times and how we can support you from R&D to industrialization.
